The Wavy Coolie is an elegant fluted lampshade tapered to a gentle cone. Daisy-like lobes drawn up, reducing to a scalloped summit. It is a classic shape we have been refining over the years with soft curves on the outside and finishing the inside corners too.
We have been making these in various sizes for a long time in endless variations of height, width, number of lobes, and in so many fabric options, and every time they come out looking stunning.
For our made to order collection we chose 6 lobes with a taper that we find just perfect, we hope you agree. This design can be even more though, have a look at our shot silk version below to see how it plays with the colour as the orientation of the surface changes.
Don’t forget you can make it your own with our bespoke service, and that is exactly what we did for the David Collins Studio. The stunning version they put in the Georgian Restaurant at Harrods and their attention to detail matched the perfect trim and silk which fit perfectly into the breathtaking room they designed.
