What we need to quote your lampshade
Shape or reference image
Use our lampshade shape catalogue to identify a starting shape, profile or proportion. Reference images, drawings or existing shade measurements are also useful.
Dimensions and quantity
Please provide the main shade dimensions and the number of lampshades required. For replacement lampshades, the top diameter, bottom diameter and vertical height are usually the most useful starting points.
Fabric or material direction
Browse our fabric inventory or let us know if you intend to supply your own material. For held fabrics, fabric samples can be ordered before confirming your specification.

Bespoke lampshades are often needed when a standard size, shape or finish will not suit the fitting, interior scheme or project requirements. Iberian Lighting manufactures made-to-order soft lampshades for interior designers, trade customers, hospitality projects, residential interiors and specialist one-off requirements.
We can work from an existing shade, a drawing, a reference image or a set of dimensions. The most suitable approach will depend on the shade shape, fabric, lining, fitting type, quantity and intended use.
Choosing the right lampshade specification
The shape and proportion of a lampshade affect how it sits on the fitting and how it reads within the room. Drum, empire, cone, oval, square and pleated lampshades each create a different visual effect, so the shape catalogue is often the best place to start.
Fabric and lining choices also affect the finished result. Cotton, linen, silk or a supplied material will behave differently once laminated, lined and fitted to a frame. Linings can change the internal appearance of the shade, the level of opacity and the quality of light produced.
For pendant lampshades and larger open forms, a diffuser may also be required to soften the light, reduce glare or conceal the lamp and internal fittings.
