Handmade Saturn Tiered Pendant Lamps

The Saturn Pendant Lamp is a three-tier fabric pendant built around an inner cylinder diffuser. The circular outer tiers create a strong horizontal profile, while the inner drum softens the light visible between each level.

This layered construction provides both direct light below the fitting and a more diffused ambient glow through the fabric surfaces. The Saturn works particularly well above dining tables, in restaurant interiors and within hotel lobbies or reception spaces where a larger decorative pendant is required.

What Is a Saturn Pendant Lamp?

The Saturn is a tiered pendant light made from three circular outer shades arranged around an internal cylinder drum. The space between the tiers allows the inner diffuser to remain visible, giving the pendant depth and creating separate bands of light across the fitting.

Unlike a single drum lampshade, the Saturn uses several fabric-covered structures to create a wider architectural profile. The internal cylinder helps diffuse the lamp source while the lower opening provides direct illumination to the surface below.

Choosing a Saturn Tiered Pendant

To configure your Saturn Pendant Lamp, begin by selecting a colour from our premium Prestigious Textiles faux silk range. You can then choose from the available standard sizes to suit the scale of your room, dining table or commercial interior.

The inner and outer shades are made from steel wire frames with fabric-covered PVC side panels. Plain fabric colours allow the tiered construction to remain the main feature, while the choice of colour can help the pendant sit within either a residential or commercial interior scheme.

The Saturn can provide a strong central feature above a dining table while retaining a controlled fabric finish. Its broad profile helps anchor larger furniture arrangements without requiring a solid or visually heavy fitting.

For restaurant dining spaces, hotel lobbies and reception areas, the pendant can be specified at a scale suited to the interior. The combination of direct and diffused light also makes it useful where both practical illumination and a decorative presence are required.

Saturn Pendant Construction and Fittings

The Saturn consists of inner and outer fabric-covered steel wire frames. Both sections attach to an E27 lampholder using separate shade rings.

The lampholder and shade rings are not included with the standard product. These will need to be selected as part of the pendant suspension and electrical fitting.
