For the sci-fi series The Peripheral, we created a collection of traditional bespoke lampshades to dress Lev Zubov’s opulent London villa. The set design combined historic architecture with futuristic modernism, and the lighting needed to reflect that unique blend of eras.

Our handcrafted lampshades were designed to emphasise the character’s lavish and extravagant lifestyle, adding warmth, scale, and detail to an interior filled with architectural contrasts. By using classic forms and luxurious materials, the lampshades illustrated the wealth and taste of Zubov’s world while integrating seamlessly into a sci-fi setting.

This project highlights how custom lighting design can bridge periods and styles — from traditional craftsmanship to contemporary storytelling — enhancing both atmosphere and narrative in film and television sets.
