In The Devil’s Hour Season 1, Lucy Chambers’ home serves as a backdrop to both waking reality and unsettling dreams. We handcrafted all the lampshades for her house — in the kitchen, living room, and bedrooms — using deep red tones to match the show’s moody, atmospheric palette.

Night after night, as Lucy wakes at 3:33 AM from recurring nightmares, the lighting becomes a character in itself. The red lampshades were designed to reinforce tension, emotion, and psychological unease — soft in texture but powerful in colour. Paired with dim ambient light, they amplify shadows and shape the haunting visual identity of both her domestic space and her dream worlds.

This project showcases how custom lighting design and colour can do more than decorate a room — they set mood, create tension, and tell story through interiors, especially when blending realism with the surreal.
