Iberian Lighting was commissioned to design and make lampshades for all six seasons of The Crown, Netflix’s acclaimed royal drama. This long-running collaboration gave us the opportunity to create a wide variety of traditional period lampshades, each tailored to the show’s evolving historical settings.

Our work ranged from casual gathered shades and precise box pleats to tiny candle clip empire shades for chandeliers and large statement shades for table and floor lamps. We even supplied bespoke lighting for the royal train, ensuring every detail of the interiors reflected the craftsmanship and style of the period being portrayed.

This project showcases how handmade lampshades and bespoke lighting design can bring authenticity and atmosphere to screen productions — reinforcing character, setting, and story through meticulous attention to detail.
