Stansted Airport Lighting | Bespoke LED Feature by Iberian Lighting

Iberian Lighting collaborated with Paul Nulty Designs to create a striking bespoke light feature for Stansted Airport’s private customs area, welcoming passengers arriving by executive jet.

The centrepiece consisted of multiple etched polymer drops — each 4cm square and 100cm long — suspended in clusters and illuminated by individual COB LEDs. The tough, precision-cut material ensured durability while allowing the light to refract elegantly through the etched surfaces.

To complement the main installation, we also produced two smaller fixtures for the waiting area, each with five illuminated drops. These provided a softer, more intimate glow, bringing warmth and comfort to an otherwise functional space.

This project demonstrates Iberian Lighting’s expertise in delivering bespoke lighting solutions
for transport and hospitality environments, and showcases how creative use of materials and LEDs can elevate passenger experiences. It also reinforces our growing portfolio of hospitality and commercial lighting projects
across landmark locations.
