Handmade Embossed Diamond Empire Lampshades

The Embossed Diamond Empire lampshade combines a traditional empire profile with a raised diamond-shaped texture. Its narrower top, wider base and sloping sides give it the familiar proportions of an empire shade, while the embossed surface adds detail without relying on print, pattern matching or decorative trim.

Each Embossed Diamond Empire lampshade is handmade in our UK workshop using a premium faux silk from Prestigious Textiles. Choose from our standard fabric colours, select the size required for your space and specify the mounting type for a table lamp or pendant light.

What Is an Embossed Diamond Empire Lampshade?

The shade is based on our classic Empire Lampshade, with a smaller top ring, wider lower ring and tapered sides. A repeated diamond texture is visible across the fabric surface, giving the shade more depth than a plain silk finish.

The combination of a traditional profile and geometric texture allows the shade to work across both classic and contemporary interiors. The diamond pattern becomes more or less prominent depending on the fabric colour, lighting and viewing angle.

Choosing an Embossed Diamond Empire Lampshade

To configure your shade, begin by choosing a colour from our Prestigious Textiles faux silk range. You can then select one of the available sizes and choose the appropriate mounting type for a table lamp or pendant fitting.

The empire profile works particularly well on table lamps and floor lamps where a balanced tapered shade is required. As a pendant, the embossed texture adds surface detail while retaining a familiar and practical lampshade form.

For interior design studios, hospitality projects and private commissions, we can make embossed Empire lampshades to suit non-standard dimensions, alternative fabrics and wider project requirements.

Options can include customer’s own material where suitable, alternative linings, trims, frame finishes and production quantities. Fabric suitability will need to be assessed where a particular embossed or textured finish is required.

Embossed Diamond Empire Sizes, Mountings and Fittings

Our standard Embossed Diamond Empire lampshades can be configured for table lamp or pendant use and are designed for an E27 lampholder. An adaptor for BC and E14 lampholders is included where applicable.
