Eliminate the glare when looking up into your your shade by adding a Diffuser. This will create a warm soft glow from the base of your shade instead of the harsh light caused by the naked lamps/bulbs.

If you don’t like the glare of light then a lampshade diffuser is what you need.
A diffuser is designed to sit in the bottom of a ceiling pendant or the bottom and/or top of table or floor lamps to distract your eye from the light.

Firstly you need to decide how much light you want in the room. The type of diffuser and what material it is made out of will determine how much light will be let out of the shade. Acrylic lampshade diffusers are designed specifically for Iberian shades and are laser cut to ensure a perfect fitting to your lampshades. Once your lampshade has been fitted simply pop the diffuser into your shade and slide it into place so that it sits just above the bottom ring. The beautiful thing about diffusers are that you can swap and change them very easily without changing your existing shade as you often as you wish to suit different times of year and your décor.
